Ohm's Law

Interactive 3D circuit visualization — adjust voltage, current, and resistance to see Ohm's Law in action with a glowing wire that changes brightness and a live V-I characteristic graph.

Ohm's Law

GCSE

Ohm's Law states that the current through a conductor is directly proportional to the voltage across it, provided temperature remains constant. The constant of proportionality is resistance: V = IR.

📐 Formulas

V = IRVoltage = Current × Resistance
P = IV = I^2R = \frac{V^2}{R}Electrical power
R = \rho\frac{L}{A}Resistance of a wire
